Component cable or upscale to HDMI

Wasn't sure where to post this ... but here goes.

Will be moving the HS20 to another (better!) room shortly. This will enable us to watch Freeview on the PJ if we want to.

However the cable run is about 12m, so I have a 12m HDMI for the DVD, but not sure what to do about the TV output. I convert it to Component and put into the AV Amp with anything else (like PS2), but this means running a Component cable as well as the HDMI.

Upscaling Component to HDMI seems rather expensive though.

Am I missing something, or will I have to run 2 sets of cables ?

Thanks,
