Viewing freeview TV with Projector suggestions

Our Church want to have big screen viewings of the Olympics i am in charge of setting this up- I'm kinda technical but this is proving difficult.

we have an I-Can Freeview HD Receiver box that has a scart rgb output. and other outputs

we have the Sanyo PLC-XU106 projector (see specs here PLC-XU106)
The projector is mounted to the ceiling so on the ground we have the following hub.

and i have an indoor Aeriel to plug into the set top box.

I bought a Scart to VGA(female)cable with gender changer

and a I also bought a Scart to Composite cable.

I plugged in the scart to VGA first into the hub but i got nothing did the same with the scart to composite and nothing.

At home the set top box works when connected to my TV when i use the provided hdmi cable - doesn't with the scart and composite (is it the scart?)in the manual it says if the scart output is being used the display should be 576pi (my projector and TV support this)

If anyone can help me with this problem i will be grateful.
or if you have a better alternative that will also be welcome. Thank You.

I suspect this is to do with changing the output of the i-can box. Do you still have the instructions? Usually via remote you need to switch the output to suit the cable. Look for RGB VGA HDMI in the i-can menus and play about. The i-can may not output VGA, try composite and switch both pj & i-can to composite. Without the i-can manual I can't be sure.

I would get a scart to RCA converter, common thing, available everywhere.
Then use the RCA for picture?
also worth trying , if you still have problems seeing the picture, is to connect it directly to PJ, from that I-Can box. Using the same said scart to RCA converter. Not through that hub thingy. Naturally just to test all is OK.
From that info of your Sanyo projector, I gathered it has RCA input for video too ?
I am currently watching F1 from BBC HD, using the same I-Can box !
But my picture comes through HDMI cable to a PJ.
The sound though comes from I-Can box, using that type of Scart-RCA socket, and then RCA cable to wireless trnsmitter etc etc.
Also checked from I-Can menus, there isnt too much to choose from, regarding the scart output.

Like this :

SCART to Phono OUT Adaptor : SCART : Maplin Electronics

Similar things, and sets containing similar with some RCA cables are readily available too.
