Sony VPL CX1

Hi.

My bulb in the projector , has just gone POP ! After removing the back cover , i can see that the bulb has blown .When i purchased the unit , i was told that the bulb was good for 2000 , hours . I have only managed to get a little under 1300 hours. Will i just have to accept this , or am i able to get a replacement bulb FOC.

I believe you will just have to accept it. Most manufacturers dont give any sort of warranty or guarantee of bulb life, due to conditions of use etc...

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news
