Just got another email from them saying they hope they will arrive late next week and we should get them in about two weeks....
Whats going on - they said it would only be 1 week about 3 weeks ago!

I am considering buying from Komplett. I emailed them today, and they said they *should* have them in on the 12th (this is in Ireland). Did you ask why there would be a 2 week delay in receiving them after that?!

Hi, I ordered my AE700 from Komplett.nl last Friday. They tell me they're coming in this Friday the 15th and should be delivered next week. However on their Norwegian site (where they all come from) it's stated that they are expecting 47 pieces on October 31st, NOT confirmed!! Maybe they're already talking about the third batch there... I sure hope the Dutch guys are correct and I'll get mine next week! ...

I received similar info to explicitlyrics.
Ordered my AE700 2 weeks ago (Sept 30th). Then last week (Oct 8th) I e-mailed them and received a reply that their Norwegian plant would receive them about today (Oct 15th) and that I should get mine next week (Oct 22nd). Here's hoping.
At least I managed to order mine when it was still £1099 - its now £1199.
I also e-mailed Panasonic who said that they would honour the guarantee should there be any problem with an item bought from Komplett.

So does that mean you ordered through komplett.co.uk?
I ordered my projector on the 22nd September, the day it was first shown on the website so I would hope I am in this same batch of projectors....
Hmm, I really hope it comes sooner coz I go away on the 22nd and would NOT want it to go all the way back!!!

I ordered mine on the 8th, they told it would be shipped on the 15th. I mailed them yesterday to ask why it still wasn't shipped. They told me it's delayed and should now be shipping on the 25th, but Komplett still didn't receive any confirmation from Panasonic that they will actually receive the projectors on the 25th..... So I guess we will all have to be patient a bit longer...

On their .no site it says that they'll have stock on the 31st from what I can make out. I'll have another look via babelfish in a mo.

I'm also still waiting and at the original price too!

Just got a reply from Komplett this morning (Wed 20th):-

Unfortunately we are still waiting for them to arrive at Norway - it looks like we won't be able to ship until the beginning of next week at the very earliest. Apologies for this, we are doing everything we can to speed this up.

Is this just Komplett?

Not heard anything from Discount Electrical but I'm hoping they are still getting the expected shipment...

Panasonic Uk may, or may not, be getting a big shipment before the end of this month, or more specifically before the end of this week

Just thought I'd keep you all updated!

Ordered mine from discounttv on the 11th (I think). My screen comes tomorrow - only a Panasonic AE700 can fill that empty space yawning at my core...

Just got word back from Komplett.nl. After they postponed the delivery from the 15th to the 25th, they now say that they're waiting for a new date from Panasonic....
I asked Komplett to keep me up to date.
pffff....

This is becoming a rather unfunny joke.

So are we looking at Nov week 1-2 ?
Do hope we get a confirmed date, even if it is this long its better than being messed about with passing dates and no stock.

So, has anyone taken delivery yet? Is there any further word from Panasonic, or their stockists, regarding when we may expect to see our long awaited projectors?

The end of this week and the beginning of November approaches...

Yeah I'm a little confused - just because Komplett are getting mucked around by Panasonic does that mean everyone is? I thought Komplett's stock wasn't sourced from Panny UK...

I looks like Discounttv, and probably every other stockist, are in exactly the same position regarding Panasonic's sliding dates.

Yesterday Komplett told me that they haven't received a new date from Panasonic yet. They told me that apparently they have a palette of AE700s to spare in their warehouse in Norway and are shipping it to the Netherlands to distribute from there. I find this odd... I'm wondering if they're not just trying to stop me from nagging

Also, I noticed on their website that the lead time has changed from 7 days (which it has been for about a month now...) to 5 days! ...

We'll see...

why such a delay from panasonic are they doing some final tweaks to get rid of vb as a thankyou for all our patience or maybe they want us to go for the competition instead. i dont mind waitin though as long as they get it right and its worth the wait.
