Yes, I guess you are right..........
I do recall (somewhere) in recent weeks (just before the A700 was out) someone at some trade fair saying the Pannie and the Sony looked about the same (don't recall any comments about the Sony's Black level being better in reality)
But yes, their new panels (hopefully) will be good.
Though to be honest (like Mhz on PC's_ I dunno how much it will impress people in general as they are the same res as even the AE500
Now if we were upping the res to that new size (which I can't remember!!)
You know, the ones that (really) the AE700 should have used (or rather people hoped it was going to use) then that would be something.
Wonder how far we are off the AE900 ?
I guess it's pretty much take the 700 chassis and add the new panels.
