Best Discs / Scenes for Demo ?

Hi people,

In a couple of weeks I'm going to pop down to Colne and demo the AE700. What discs would you recommend I take with me to test its full capabilities ?

Many thanks.

Hi there,

2001 - A Space Odyssey was my "test disc"...fantastic transfer, rock solid image with crisp colours and deep blacks . Also, the image doesn't dart around like the cameraman has a wasp up his arse like so many films these days (Bourne Supremacy, I'm looking at you )...so you can actually sit back and appreciate the gorgeous cinematography, and hopefully give your potential purchase a good workout.

blade 2 club scene for dark scenes, startrek nemesis for desert scene for bright, toy story for cartoon animation stuff, fifth element diva dance for something different, you need to use films you know gladiator last scene as Maximus dies is another good one look at the detail in his forehead and hairline

Yes of course,

Our 'collection' has been slimmed of late due to unofficial staff loans. It's always good to bring a DVD you are familiar with.

Cheers

Ben,

By all means feel free to put in a couple of requests.

I believe you have spoken to a friend of mine, Craig from Perth, and he will be visiting you shortly. Looks like you're getting a lot of good business.

To those who have made suggestions then many thanks. Even handier that I actually have the discs you mention
