New SIM2 Projectors - Throw ratios???

From another thread I hear that SIM 2 are about to launch a new range of PJ's :-

"I see Sim2 are launching 2 new PJ's at Cedia with:
0.8 720p DarkChip3™ by Texas Instruments, together with a new video calibration software system."

Aside from confirming that this is the case - is anyone aware of the likely throw ratio of the new PJ's - I'm hoping that SIM2 have learned a little about the expectations of the typical home user and are able to offer a "real world" throw ratio - closer to that on offer by some of the other DLP manufacturers (notably Marantz, Sharp, et al)

It would be great to be able to include a SIM2 in my shortlist!

It does appear that now is not the best time to be planning on buying a new projector.

Several new models could be announced at Cedia which starts in the next few days.

But...allthough announced it could be weeks or months until they are readily available and then at a premium price maybe to start with.

I was all set on a Marantz S3 but have decided to wait a week or two before any decision now.

Cheers, Lee

wise move, as the S4 is due to hit soon and marantz PJs normaly improve in huge leaps,

the dark chip tech for the new sims i guess will add a real boost to contrast and resolve a much better black.
its pretty good now mind, but i would wait if i was going to spend RRP on a new new PJ
