DLP blacks

I have just watched the first film on my new Themescene H56 and noticed the blacks looked dark green.
This is the first time I have seen a DLP and was wondering if it was a characteristic or should I start tinkering?

I wouldn't say greenish blacks are normal for newer DLPs.
I have seen some older LCDs that had these greenish blacks, but proper greyscale calibration may have sorted this.

The "blacks" on my Marantz VP12-S3, are near perfect hues of grey etc.

Maybe your unit just needs a "ISF" calibration, or at the very least tweaking with one of the setup/calibration DVDs available.

Good luck!!!
