Panasonic L500U!!!!!!

i was just wondering what everyone here thought about the PT-L500U, i have been doing some research and it seems like this one is very good and what i am looking for, i am going to be using it for dvds, cable, and video games. if you have heard of any problems for this plz inform me on it. i was also wondering if you thought this projector was good or not, just give me your advice. also i am probably going to be making my own screen. is the picture quality good on a home made screen? all help is welcome...thanx
