Which Projector

Looking to upgrade my Projector. I was wondering if anyone has any reviews on the Sony Qualia 004 , Marantz VP10 S1, Sim2 HT500 . any thoughts I would be grateful.

Mike,

there's been quite a few threads on the AVS forum re. the Sony etc.

Basically the opinion was that the 3 Chip DLPs are brighter and have higher contrast than the Sony. BTW a lamp for the Qualia costs $3000 !!!

Regards Jeff

That's much better than the SOny, and not much worse than the current price for single chips. Reckon they'll ever make a 3 chop with a single chip lamp for the home market?

BTW - saw Barry and his wife last night, and even she commented how good the Domino looked!

Gary.

Gary,

Glad to hear Barry & Wife are pleased with their Domino 20H.

What's that about 3 chops ?

Jeff
