Hitachi PJ TX-100: "Blocky" Reds ???

I love my PJ but the only thing that annoys me with it is that reds show like Lego blocks on films !!!!
I am outputting Prog scan via Component .(happens with all inputs, s-video,composite and PS2 etc)
Can I eradicate this with playing around with the settings or do I have to live with it ???
Could anyone please point me in the right direction ??
Has anyone else experienced this with their TX-100 ??

My DVD player is Pioneer DV575 A.
I think it maybe Chroma Upsampling Error ( CUE )

Will try and adjust my colour settings if not then it must be the DVD player i think ???

Have you tried interlaced? That may produce a different image, but it sounds like it could be cue.
