Panny 500 or SP 4805

Hi there,
Assuming the price difference between the panasonic 500 and the SP 4805 is not significant, which one is a better buy?
The panny has a higher resolution, but I have heard that the black level of DLP are much better than LCD, I have also heard that LCD colors deteriate much faster than DLP.
So bottom line, a higher resolution LCD or Lower resolution DLP?

Any advise on that?
