I was informed some time back on this forum that there is a firmware flash upgrade to convert the X1 to the same firmware as the Screenplay 4800. Can anyone please advise where I can obtain this upgrade ? Thanks in advance.

There's a link in the FAQ to technut's XI page - a source of all sorts of useful information about the X1, including info about upgrading the firmware. I'm not sure how straightforward the upgrade to 4800 firmware is, but if you go there you'll find all you need to know.
