Question HS20 Software

Hi

Has anyone had any joy downloading the Image Director software for the HS20 - or are there any third party (homebrew) apps which can be used to control the finer aspects of the projector?

Cheers

I'm hoping it lets you apply colour correction LUTs to your HS20 interactively whilst its displaying a suitable test pattern,

Failing that I'm hoping you can somehow profile the response curve of your projector and apply the inverse LUT to remove kinks.

Failing that give Gordon a ring!

The software appears to allow the user to create new gamma setting which can be saved on the pj, allowing combined or individual RGB gamma curves with three different curve profiles....

Gonna give it ago tonight with the THX test pattern (as i dont have any other test images) - any suggestions?

Cheers

Does it let you create your own ?
Is it a simple gamma adjustment or can you define arbitrary curves?

It just seems to have 3 curve profiles, ranging from slight to deep (not very technical terms I know) - I think the real benefit maybe in the individual RGB curves where you may be able to turn down green if it is too intense

Nope having looked at this software all it does is allow you to vary gamma and restrict its effects by limiting the curve or varying the pullpoint.

It won't let you define arbitrary curves with plotted anchor points ( ie its no good for profiling).
