Sanyo PLC SU31

Please can anyone tell me if the Sanyo PLC SU31 is an OK home cinema projector - I know nothing about it, except that it's 1700 lumens and that I just bought one off ebay!!

Any help, advice etc would be very welcome since this is my first ever projector

The Sanyo is a presentation projector.
It will work to some extent as a home cinema projector but won't give you as good a picture as say a Z2.
Although it's bright, the contrast and black level will be the main areas where a proper home cinema unit will better it.
