D4 to component - true component quality?

Hi guys,

Due to the fact that I purchased the Sanyo PLV-Z2 from Japan, it doesn't have the 3 RCA inputs necessary for component. However, it has a D4 input. I've purchased a D4 to component cable, and was wondering if this will give me true component quality?

Hi,

I don't see why it shouldn't. Btw, where did you purchase your cable from?
