hd65 + dg820 + pc issue

hey all, my setup consists of those mentioned in the title, now the problem i am having is with the resolution being displayed when using alll of them together.
i am using a ati hd4980 with extended display, the hd65 is set at 1280x720p now i have no issue if i use the hdmi straight into the back of the hd65 it displays as it should. The problem arises when i pass it through the dg820 it says its displaying at 1280x720p but its not heres a diagram to show what is actually happening

It only displays like this when i pass the pc through the dg820, i pass a 360, ps3 and hd dvd player through it with no problems does anyone know why it is doing this and how to resolve it?

cheers
