£750 for Office Projector and Screen

I've been given a budget of £750 for a projector and screen. It will be used in an office mainly for presentations however some videos will be played. The projector will not be mounted on the ceiling so a portable one would be preferred, as well as a portable screen however a wall-mounted screen would also be suitable. I'd like a resolution higher than 800x600 and preferrably HD however that isn't a massive issue. £750 is the max I'd like to pay so anything less would be appreciated. I've been looking at Sanyo, Epson and Sony projectors but I'm not too clued in on the projector market. I particularly had my eyes on the Optoma HD700X and the 952.314 Adastra 86" screen, are these two good? If not could you possibly spec another combination?
Thanks

Re: £750 for Office Projector and Screen

The Hitachi CP-X3 is worth considering.

Very small, 2000 lumens, 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution (16:10) and has an HDMI input as well as VGA so is quite flexible.

Alternatively forget about the HDMI input and go for a 4:3 XGA, something like the Sanyo PLC-XW200 and save quite a bit.

here is a link to a good portable screen - you will pick it up for a lot less than the price shown on the link:

Re: £750 for Office Projector and Screen

What are you doing for sound as most projectors have none and those that do have a pretty weedy speaker that would have only a low output.

The HD700 is a good pj along with BenQ's new W600 (£499).
