Hello (again)

It's pretty much 5 years to the day since I first stumbled upon avforums (it took a few weeks more for me to join ) whilst researching projector technology. Wary of many opinions of PJ technology back then, I still stumped up around £1K and took a great leap of faith. 5 years later, with the same projector still going strong, I thought I'd just drop by to say that (IMHO) a projector is still the most important component of a Home Cinema setup, and by far the biggest "bang for your buck".

HD has put a few more miles in the tank for my TX100, but one day I'll retire her for a far more superior model, but I'll always remember by far the best value £1K I've ever spent in my life.

Re: Hello (again)

Nice to see you back. It's hard to believe you're still using that same PJ (I've had four in the last 2 1/2 years, but I think I've settled now ). I can't remember exaclty how the TX100 compares now, but if it's on a par with (say) an AE1000 which was my first PJ. You should see a JVC HD550/950 and prepare to have your mind blown.....or maybe you shouldn't see them and remain happy with what you have already (I haven't viewed them for exactly this reason ).

Cheers,
Kelvin.
