Smile BARCO 801s Probably for sale...

I have recently acquired, from a friend, and I am now looking to sell this projector as I do not have the space for it.

I wondered if anyone is interested in it and what sort of figures am I looking at. I saw there was one for sale back in '02 for £1500. So maybe something like £1200 or £1100?

I am of course open to offers

Thanks for reading
Andy

Please place an ad in the sales forum.
Tube condition is of major importance.
I think your asking price is too high - but you can always try!

Re: BARCO 801s Probably for sale...

I really don't know enough about CRT projectors, how would I check the condition of the tubes?
Also, what would you say is a reasonable price for this projector?

Any help is massively appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

In my opinion an 801 in reasonable condition showing a half decent picture is worth around 2-300£.Thats if you could find a buyer.I had trouble selling a decent 808s last year,in the end i let it go for £295.Sorry to be the barer of bad news.To get a better price i think it has to be set up and running and have good tubes.Just saying" thats it on the floor mate it was working ok"wont make much money.
