First Projector?

I am currently looking to buy my first projector. I have around £1000 to spend and am rather stuck.

Having read the recent reviews and articles there are many different options.

Here is a quick list of candidates I came up with, mainly based on price.

Hitachi PJ-TX10
Panasonic AE200 & AE300
Toshiba TLP-ET1
Epson EMP-TW10

The projector will be used for watching films, footy and playing on my ps2.

Also my room is 3m x 3m.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Also look at:

Infocus X1 (DLP)

Sanyo Z1 (New Z2 model is getting rave reviews at the moment at this model was also very good)

For me I would choose the Panny AE300 but you might pay just over the 1K mark for one, and it's a widescreen pj too.
