Screen size vs projector

Hi, i need help, , i have the capacity to install a 106' screen in my room & the hd20 i am planning to buy will just about fill the screen from the distance calculators i have used, however i cannot find a panoview 106' motorised screen anywhere but can get a 120' screen, which with a bit of shuffling around i maybe able to mount, what i wanted to know is if i go for the 120' screen , where i plan to mount the HD20 i can only project 106' , will the picture bleed onto the rest of the 120' screen, what would the effect of projecting a 106' projection onto a 120' screen be.

Thanks for taknig the time to help....

Re: Screen size vs projector

It will look crap the whole point in having a screen with a black border is that it frames the image and gives improved perceived contrast.

If you have too large a screen so that you have a white panel all round you might as well project onto a white wall.

Buy the right size screen for the job period,if you can't get the right size better to go a little smaller and zoom out to fill it.

By the way it's " not ' there is a difference you know
