Full HD Replacement for Sanyo PLV-Z4?

Hi guys, sorry to be asking the same old questions, but I've had a quick browse and can't find what I'm looking for.

My collection of Blu-rays has grown somewhat and it's time to see them in their full glory. So it's out with my trusty Z4 (which I bought based on recommendations on this very site!) and in with something new and 1080p. The throw is about 11' to a 6' wide screen, and the room is fully blacked out.

I'm looking to spend around £1200 - £1500 but will happily go lower, or could stretch a bit for something truly exceptional. I've done the usual trawls through the mags and the web, and I can't see a real concensus on the the top 2-3 projectors. The one (minor) issue I've had with the Z4 has been fan noise, so ideally I'd like to move up to something that's whisper quiet. Given the recent proliferation of sub-£1000 models, how much real benefit is there in moving up to the near £2000 level?

Your recommendations would be gratefully received, or feel free to point me in the direction of other threads / sites.

Many thanks

Well if it's quiet you need better forget DLP,that means another LCD or LCOS/SXRD.

Consider Sanyo Z700 been out a while or Mitsubishi,Don't know how much the new Sony HW15 will be yet but under £1500 IMO.
