JVC HD1 - Mounting Suggestions??

Hi,

Ive just got myself one of these and cant decide how to mount it, ie ceiling, shelf or table top.

Re. the ceiling, it looks pretty big and heavy, but i guess the JVC mount is up to it, does any one have an idea of cost, or an alternative, better still a pic would be great of one ceiling mounted.

OR, any suitable shelf suggestions with pics if possible.

Thanks alot, i kind of like table top but i just think it could get easily damaged as it would be near a doorway etc.

Cheers,
ASH

LMP have a purpose built mount for the JVC. It's a close ceiling mount with a large square base plate at the projector end.

You will need to take all four feet off the projector before fixing the base plate to the projector. But once done it's a simple process.

To have a look at the basic design see the universal mount on the link provided.

LMP Products.

A lot of our customers use this for their JVC DLA HD projectors.

Many mount are available and most you dont have to take feet off? most are around £79 plus shipping and will fit most ceiling mount projectors, dont forget if you mount it above the screen you MUST mount it feet UP as you can not incline it more than 20 deg.

Re: JVC HD1 - Mounting Suggestions??

I have the LMP close ceiling mount on my HD1 and it is excellent. Also , if you upgrade your PJ you can just change the base plate for about £20 and away you go
