Sim2 Domino 20 Throw Distances

I've used the throw distance calculator on Projector Central for this projector, but was unsure about how to interpret the 'throw range'.

In my room it says that I can get a reasonably sized (75") image, if I operate according to the minimum throw distance the 'throw range' accounts for.

Does this Minimum Distance involve zooming of the image, or degrading its quality in any way?

Thanks for reading.

Dimmy,

All SIM2 projectors use high quality Fujinon Glass optics designed to SIM2 specs. The image quality is not compromised throughout the zoom range.

Thanks Alan,

I thought, for a second, I would have to Cap my spendature on a Projector to the budget LCD arena, as I thought I wouldn't be able to get a descent image size in my room with anything higher priced.

Good to know I can aim higher now , with the Domino 20 looking the most likely (and aesthetically pleasing) candidate.

I just downloaded the User Manual from the Sim2 website, which says I'll only get an image size of 57".

Any ideas???

Sim 2 have the longest throw around. For a larger image try Infocus 5700, or Optoma H56
Good luck
