Ques about 1:1 DVI mapping on AE500

Just read another interesting thread on the AE500 here -

http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...hreadid=336441

What got me worried from this guy's kit is the 1:1 mapping through DVI he's set up seemed to be cropped with a fairly noticeable border around the image. Hmmm, I certainly hope this isn't a limitation of the AE500's DVI port.
This guy's mini-review has also got a good blacks comparision between the X1 and AE500, with pictures to boot. Although for me the higher res of the AE500 will win every time - especially as i'm all set up for Euro1080 HDTV. All except a 1080i projector.

Anyone know when Sony's 1980x1080 £15000 Qualia is released?
