Re: Marquee 9500lc ultra lvps power supply

Hi,
I'm afraid I'm a Barco man and know nothing about Marquee projectors. I reckon that Curt Palme in the US is possibly your only option for a Marquee board repair these days.

If you wanted to seek another spare you might try asking Henry from CRT Projectors Home Cinema Experts if he has one of these boards spare. I don't think he offers a repair service, I believe he has various Marquee and Barco parts available.

Hope this helps
Jonathan

Re: Marquee 9500lc ultra lvps power supply

Try here for more information on Marquee's than you could ever possibly want - CRT Projectors (this is a different forum/link from the one posted above).

Do a search on "Marquee" or "LVPS" and you'll likely get an idea of whats wrong or hints on how to track the problem down, if you can't see what you need or it doesn't help, just post a message and you'll get a reply or two!

There is a very comprehensive Marquee maintenance thread in there as well, do a search on "maintenance" and you'll see it. It includes details on replacing parts of the LVPS so that it works better - worth a read if you are handy with a soldering iron, if not then there are folks here on AVForums that can help or if need be you can contact Curt Palme and he will repair/replace your LVPS although shipping charges to/from the US are high for such a heavy item.

Edit I see you have contacted Curt at AVSForums but please do have a look at Curts own website I've linked to as its very comprehensive and extremely useful for us Marquee owners as well as other brands of CRT!

Re: Marquee 9500lc ultra lvps power supply

Just to add to Paul's reply - If you ultimately establish what you need to replace to repair this board but you're not comfortable with soldering components, then I'm in the UK and could give you a hand with that aspect (probably just for the postage costs if it's a small job).

Let me know if you end up in that situation and I'll see if I can help.

Cheers
Jonathan

Re: Marquee 9500lc ultra lvps power supply

I still have a couple of power supplies from an 8500 and I thought they were interchangable
I didn't do much with electohomes though so I bow to other experts
