Themescene Optoma HD20 1080p DLP Projector

Hi there,

I have just seen this new Themescene 1080p projector coming out in August. Does anyone know how good this will be. I currently own a Pioneer 508XD which I would sale to get a projector and watch on that instead.

How long would the lamp last if I watch TV all day every day? Is it possible.

cheers

Graham

There are some folks who actually have a unit so they might be able to answer your questions...

You don't look very far do you the thread discussing this pj is directly below yours.

It's referred to as either Optoma or Themescene.

As far as leaving it on all day, sure you can but it will work out expensive with lamps.I would think around £200 a time (lamp price has not been specified yet) and 1500-2000hrs usage.

That would equate to a new bulb every 6 months if used 8hrs a day.
