Sourcing Prisms for anamorphic DIY

I have recently been looking at CIH and anamorphic things, and really would like to make my projector utilize all of its pixels. Being a student, all of the exsisting solutions are way out of the question, but I found a guide on making one using prisms.
Im happy with DIY projects, and would really love to do this - only problem is, I can't seem to find the right prisms anywhere. The guy who wrote the guide used trophy/awards with no engraving on... but I can't find anything....

I get the idea that there is a difference between all the prisms, so I would need an anamorphic, or stretching one way prism. A right angled prism wouldnt work would it???

I want to make one which stretches outwards, not downwards...

If anyone knows where I could get the right prism, large enough, I'd be really greatful. I'm in the UK, so most of the american sites are no good as they don't ship world-wide.

Thanks in advance for any help

-Paul
