Looking for Sharp XV-Z21000 (or 20000)

I'm looking to upgrade my XV-Z9000 to the latest model - the Z21000 (Z20000 US)

Can anyone offer any tips on where to buy one ? Google is not my friend today.

I can't tell you where to buy one, but the Z5000 is the same projector for places like South America. I sold my Z5000 for $2600US used a few months ago. Being this close to IFA in Europe (September 4th) and CEDIA in the US (September 10th) you might want to see what else gets announced at those shows. And for similar models if you like the 21k, maybe the Planar 8130 and 8150, along with the Marantz 11S2 (although more money).

You will only find Sharp Z21000 secondhand as they were discontinued, in Europe at least, over a year ago. Try e-bay or a wanted AD in the AV forums For sale/wanted section.
