Just tell her your joists are running the wrong way She probably won't check.......

ps - mine do run the "wrong" way so couldn't do it - impressed by Woz's efforts though.

Oh she knows She even told me they run the right way

My last stand is that the ceiling aint in that good condition really and a sawing action might bring the whole lot down, which I think we can all agree is something to avoid
