Price for CRT-parts?

Hey all!

I'm new here

I've been looking for some parts for my Sony 1292, and
I've come about this list of items:

1080p.dk

However, since there's no pricing, what should I pay for
the PSU for the 1292? What's it's 'street value'?

Thanks, any advice would be nice! I also have take shipping
into account etc.

Thanks!

Peter

Re: Price for CRT-parts?

Ask them for a price,

If you are UK based there are very few parts for Sony,

If you are USA based then AVSforum.com might be a better place to ask......

I must admit I didn't know the proper name for the 1292 DC board. but now I have it, it is of course "the big board you lift up".

This guy clearly has no idea what he is selling, I would imagine he couldn't get it to work so broke it for spares.

Go in cheap and see what happens but you have no idea that what you are buying will work, because he won't either.

Take a look at those photo's again, has that bench he has used to put the boards on got water patches on !!

Painting a projector bright red is an ideal way of reminding yourself the need to set it up properly.

true but a little harsh, it's obviously indoors and a wood table is very good for ESD protection.

He's wiped down his patio table and taken the kit out to photograph it in decent daylight.

To be fair a bit of damps on a board will do no harm.

Storing them damp is different

I know a couple of companies who used to clean circuit boards in the dishwasher to get rid of pub smoke and dust contamination.

Sorry the Toshiba Green BV701mm/BD701s/BD708/Cine7 are really difficult to come by. I sold my last one a few years ago.
The above projectors all used the same tube it was only the BD/V701 and 700 that use the sony tubes and these had the green tinted glycol
