screen conundrum...

Have just moved into a new place (rented) all is good but the ceilings are 8ft 6 and thus my screen would end up far to high for comfortable viewing...

Have a convienient chimney brest which i am projecting on to as a temporary measure but frankly magnolia matt walls are not exactly great until its get very late inthe evening (room as bloody big windows at one end and patio doors at the other...

what else could I paint the chimney brest with to imrpove things or am i going to have to invest in another screen with a larger drop?

Re: screen conundrum...

B and Q sell chain on a roll. Only costs a quid a metre or something. I had a similar problem to you so i bought some chain and a couple of hooks from there and hung the screen from ceiling hooks on the chains. Hook through the end of the chain and through the screw holes on the screen and the other end through the hook on the ceiling. It's a cheap and easy way round it.
