Sky RF out to PJ

Guys,

I want to get the RF out signal from my sky box plugged into my Surround System and PJ in another room.

I've read on a few other threads of an RF demodulator which seems to make sense, I assume this would decode the RF signal and output it to stereo audio and composite video, trouble is I can't find one anywhere.

Is there another way of achieving this or does anyone know where I can get one from?

Cheers

Matt

My brother uses an old video recorder tuned to the RF signal from Sky, then then uses a scart adapter (can't remember its proper name, like you get with games consoles) that allows you to output a yellow composite lead for picture & white/red for audio connected to the amp, then onto the projector/speakers
.
A dvd recorder should work too

Re: Sky RF out to PJ

One for sale on eB*y that shows you what you need
Alternatively, & usually more expensive you could use a scart to phono cable

Hope this helps

If you do have a DVD recorder with RGB in and a HDMI output, you'll get a much better result looping your Sky box through it. I use an older Sony HXD870 to loop a Pace Twin recorder (Freeview, but similar to a Sky+ box) through to my HDMI spitter. I mainly use this to fed another TV in the conservatory, but I have a HDMI splitter so that it can go to the PJ as well if I wanted.

IIRC using RF will make the sound mono, but I stand to be corrected.
