| Member | Do LCD panels have a finite lifespan?
Sanyo Z1. About 600 hours, all on low-light mode. I've been very happy with it, but have recently noticed that it is suffering from text burn-in really quickly (30 seconds) from any static text. After about 20 minutes the burn-in fades and all is well, until the next time I leave any menu up for more than 30 seconds. Otherwise, performance is fine. It just seems that the LCD matrix doesn't want to react as quickly as it used to? Or something...? |
