PCH and Home Cinema Projector

This my first post so please go easy on me

I have a PCH A110 reading a 2tb server with all my DVD,s on it, this work very well with my Plasma TV and I am now thinking of getting a LCD Projector and a 2 meter wide screen, I will be sitting about 10 to 12 feet from the screen what resolution of projector should i get 720 or 1080, I have read lots of review and the more I read the more confused I get
