Barco Graphics 800 Scan Fail

hi everyone.. you are my last hope :-)

my barco was running well and i never used it a lot.
when i tried to start it after like a month everythings sounds normal. i hear the fans go. i hear the high voltage crinkle and the sound even changes like usual when i first change to fe channel 5. but! there is no picture. tubes are dead.

and the scan fail lamp is read. and the 8V lamp is off. all others are orange..

any idea to help me ?? thank you

DON'T PANIC! I'm no expert but you have posted in the best place on the 'net. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help....

Sounds like a bad horizontal or vertical board...What Red LED's are lit ? Also try pulling out the convergence board...Does the projector still shut down ? And yes you will lose convergence until the board is plugged back in. Power the projector down before pulling cards !

You might find some help here. Never owned or set up an 800 though.......

Check the power supply(SMPS) for a bad fuse.

well thanks so far..
i read in another thread that the convergence board is blow the lenses reachable from the front.
i did pull it out... nothing changes.. same effect.

yes.. i can start it thru remote. and select a channel.. and can switch it off too..

the scan fail lamp is red.. and on one of the board is a red light.. not sure what it is ?

from what i see thru this link there is also a red light on the vertical scan board ...:-(

any suggestions ?

Is the Red LED on the EHT module also lit up ?

when i turn on the projector the scan fail light is red immediately.

and the 7V yellow light goes on and off in irregular way..

usually the start up screen used to come up but nothing anymore.

then when i choose a channel.. the sound changes .. and the on of the green lights on the rgp switch board comes on and the red light on the vert board.. not on the EHT
