Basically turn the PJ on and within 10 seconds it turns itself off.

Picture starts to come up then green power light turns to red and it goes off. No flashing of the power light no lamp light etc?

Any suggestions?

had it over a year and this is the first problem I've had with it, not sure of the about of hours on it (may be 1500 - low power mode), but its always been shut down correctly etc.

Sounds like the lamp or the power supply....................... try contacting Panny, they may be prepared to do something about it if it's not too far outside of warranty.......... I'm sure the number for the service dept. has been posted here in the past - try a search.

Phoned them today and they are picking it up this afternoon - cant ask for quicker service than that can I.

Just have to wait how long till its sorted and returned.
