DRH Easy Pull Up Screen

Considering this screen @ 145cm width 16:9 ratio with a Optoma H56 projector from 9.8 feet the max room i've got. A fixed screen is not really an option

Is this a good combination for a newbie with a first projector

thanks for the help

Hi & welcome

5' wide screen with a viewing distance of 9' should be fine. Also have a look at the FAQ at the top of this forum.......loads of useful info/links to be found there.

Throw Ratio on H56

You should be OK with a 145cm screen at that distance. Calculations are as follows using the 145:

Minimum throw distance is 9.51 feet (2.9m) - Maximum 11.4ft (3.48)

If you have a look at our US website you will see the new H30, H56 & H76. On the site you can use the online calculator to find the throw distance or screen size. Always allow app +/- 5% tolerance on the calculations. I hope this helps.

You can find it at www.optomahometheater.com

Regards
