Da Lite Deluxe Insta Theatre - Is this acceptable ?

Hi,

I just got my first projector screen to use with an Optoma HD800x. The screen is brand new but I am surprised by how non flat it is. It is a portable pull up screen with a pneumatic scissor lift mechanism.

I have attached some pics and would appreciate some opinions as to if this is faulty or it is just to be expected from this type of screen ?

i've just bought a screen and all it had was a slight slacness at the bottom which i think has gone now and iys perfectly smooth. i would return that one

Just spoke with with Da-Lite in the US via their live web chat. They said the screen should not be like this and should be replaced under warranty.

Their support was exceptionally good, lets hope the replacement is better

no mine was pull down
