Sim2 problem

Hello,

Im new here so this is my first post (im actually the guy who makes the hi-fi racks for Cyrus )

I have a real problem with my Sim2 screen its an 8ft motorized screen but its stopped going up and down. First i checked the 12v signal which was ok, next i replaced the switch which you can hear 'click' so i know its getting the signal, but still no screen. Now Sim2 what to check the motor but want £100's just for labour with no promise of a fix. A replacement is around £1000 so out of the question.

Does anyone know if its poss to disconnect the motor and operate it by hand some how? The screen is about 5 years old, thing is... there is nothing wrong with the actual screen at all its perfect and has the tab tension system too so its really good it just the motor.

Cheers,
Simon.
