Vutec screens in europe(sweden)

Hi,

I want a 92" 16:9 Vutec Lectric 1 with the VuFlex PRO surface but the only stores I have found online are in the US. It is a lot of shipping costs from the US

Anyone know of a dealer closer to Sweden?

As a matter of interest, why are you so keen on the Vutec?

I was planning on going with a dreamscreen tab tensioned one ( this, in swedish ) when I bought my new PT-AX3000.

But then I noticed there was a new PT-AX4000 released for about the same price in the US, but it was a lot more expensive in Europe. So I went to Ebay and got in contact with a seller which recommended a Vutec screen to go with it. After some looking around on the web it seems to be better than the dreamscreen one at about the same price(including shipping and import taxes). But he wants $2-300 for shipping so I thought it might be good to look around for a dealer somewhere closer.

I am open for other motorized screen ideas in the same total price range, around 8-9000 SEK ( US$1100 - US$1300 or E800 - E850 )

According to Liam @ Prog AV, another factor if buying a electric screen, the Vu-Flex Pro surface is good without the need for addition tensioned sides.

That is one of the reasons I want the Vutec instead. Because of this it is also a lot thicker which sounds and feels more robust, and it has a 1.3 gain compared to 1.0 of the one I was planning to buy before. Since I cannot completly block out light in my living room every little bit helps

I have one of these screens (in the UK) without tab tension and it works very well, you can get whatever size you want as they are made to order. Kent Home Cinema sell them, they may export to Sweden

Thanks for the info on Kent Home Cinema, but they seem to be quite expensive compared to the US price even including shipping and import taxes. I might just have to bite the bullet and pay a lot of shipping costs.
