Beamax R-Black Electric Screen Experiences

Hi everyone,

I was looking at getting a Beamax M-Series screen for my new home theatre but due to now changing the decor I require a screen with a black case. The size I can get the R-Black in is better but it does not have the ALR (Anti Leathermark Roller). I was just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this screen and whether you found it to be good or bad.

Thanks Luke

Can anyone help me to what gain screen i require aswell. the room is completely blacked out and has gray and black walls either 1.5 or 1.0.

The projector is about 3.5m away from the screen. The projector is a Panasonic PT-AE3000.

Gain 1.0 & possibly with eco mode too.
3.5m throw means very bright!
Mine is approx. 1.0 and 6.2m away

Re: Beamax R-Black Electric Screen Experiences

Cheers Carl I thought that might be the best plan. The R-Black screen is my best bet, but i just don't wont to lose a lot of quality in screen build over the M-Series.
