Where to buy Blackout Cloth??
I've read plenty of threads on screen building and need to build a screen 2mx1.1m.
I've decided to opt for a velvet-covered timber frame and stretched blackout cloth as the screen surface (which I may or may no paint depending onthe initial results)
Can anyone recommend a supplier of blackout cloth and give me an idea of price???

Hi Robert,
I recently purchase some blackout material from Dunelm. http://www.dunelm-mill.co.uk/
They had a great selection and I purchased 3mts x 1.2mts for a grand total of £7.95. (last of the big Spenders) Make sure you get the white variety as they also do a cream colour as well. Many people on the forum tend to use the fabric side for the screen but I used the polyester side. I am very pleased with results for such a small outlay.

You should be able to get it from any good curtain shop or haberdashers, or places like Allders (where I got mine).

Also got mine from Dunhelm, if you have one close by it is definitely worth going as you may see it even cheaper but then again £7.95 is cheap enough  |

Do Dunelm Mills do mail order??
