Hi folks I hope this is the right forum

I have a vista laptop (12 months old) and would like to transfer my music library from my desktop machine to it. I have a Sony Nw-hd5 which at this present time I cannot afford to replace.

so i installed the sonicstage 4.3 software onto my laptop firstoff it causes an internal error but continues to install. I copy my library from my pc eventually it installs however I have all tracks (and it is so slow) but no albums.

it also does not 'sync' to the player. I have tried re-installing both software and library but nothing happens

Any suggestions please?

there was a program i used that allowed you to transfer back

try this might not work though
