CD Ripping without gaps

Since my player (Sansa Clip) is not gapless, I have been wrestling with "fixes" for the problem. One of the neatest is to use iTunes (this is the only time I use this s/w) to rip CDs, and to make use of its ability to join specific tracks together at the time of ripping. It's very easy to use, and if you know which tracks need to be joined in this way, then it's a lot easier to do it then, rather than having to stitch them together later.

For all other music handling I use MediaMonkey. I haven't found a way in MM of joining tracks while I rip.

Anyone know if MM can do this?
