Ipod Touch working Under Vista 64bit

There is only one way to get it to work under Vista 64bit, that is using Virtualization Software, as in Running an OS within an OS, and so far only one program I found does it well...

This is what you need

-32bit Windows XP Installtion Disc
-VMWare Workstation

You can get a 30 day demo of VMware from

http://www.vmware.com/products/ws/

Works great easy to use, just select how much RAM you want to use and size of Hard drive then just install windows as you normally would, no drivers needed and sound worked first time for me....

Now I can do the video encoding/Ripping in Vista 64bit, then once it is done load up VMware, and Run the Virtual XP OS and transfer it to the Ipod.., YOu can Use Itunes as you normally would..

Re: Ipod Touch working Under Vista 64bit

Just looking into this - the only version of VMWare Workstation is $189. Is there a free version on the site?

I've tried MS Virtual PC 2007 but it keeps crashing Vista
