Urgent Ipod Nano advice.

My dinner break is at 1pm today & for days i've been debating on wether to purchase an 8gb ipod Nano 3rd gen, I intend to purchase a nano today depending on answers I receive.

I've never owned an ipod before so not sure what to expect from it.

My main questions are :

I have hundreds of mp3's on my PC from ripped cd's / "other" sources , can these just be dropped & dragged to the nano to play?

is the video quality on the nano top notch or poor? , is it like watching videos on your mobile phone or are the videos high quality?

Do you have to use Itunes to transfer mp3 files or can you just drag & drop via windows explorer?

Thanks in advance.

Phil

You need to drag them into iTunes - but yes, it's a simple as that.

It's about as good as it gets on such a tiny screen yes. Very bright and colourful.

Not possible without a great deal of messing around.

Re: Urgent Ipod Nano advice.

regards to video:

it really depends on the quality of it in the first place.

after seeing several in an apple store the other month the screen showed it plays quite well.

after reading stuff on here, the sony is held in a high regard also.
