Flac compatible mp3 players?

Hi

Are there any half decent flac compatible mp3 players around atm? Last I heard it was just about the venerable rio karma that did it. Fallen out of the loop a bit as far as mp3 players are concerned. Reason being is that I have all my music ripped to flac and don't really fancy having to convert it back. I also want it smallish as going on holiday in about a month and want to put a load of audio storys on there so I can have something to listen to.

Last mp3 player I owned was the iriver h120 which shows how out of the loop I am!

Cheers...

FLAC imposes a serious battery penalty so you've got to really want it.

iAudio do FLAC players, and if you fancy being something of a beta tester the iPod 5G reflashed with Rockbox software will also play back FLAC files.

Rio Karma does as does the iRiver H140 and H120.

However, you can load Rockbox http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/vie...res_of_Rockbox
on to several different MP3 players for FLAC playback

i have a 30gb x5l and it plays flac fine..

tho you wont get that many albums on 30gb, and the 60gb x5 doesnt have the great battery life so its a bit of a catch 22
