Re: Legal Music Download Sites

It's probably worth adding Amazon.co.uk's new MP3 download service to that list. I tried it out this morning and was impressed. The prices are excellent, the files are of excellent quality (DRM-Free MP3s at 256kbps variable/constant bit rate) and there's a small piece of software which automatically adds your purchases to your iTunes library so it could hardly be any easier to use.

Recommended.

Re: Legal Music Download Sites

Classicsonline is a very good resource for, well, classical downloads. Mostly, if not all at 320kbps MP3.

Re: Legal Music Download Sites

Does anyone know of any good *free* legal download sites? I know such a site won't have the big bands but maybe there's somewhere you can download songs from upstart groups.

Google "unsigned MP3" and a few should pop up.

Thumbs up Re: Legal Music Download Sites

Hey guys!

I know that Emusic is already on the list but I just had to post. This is an AMAZING site. I've never really been too hot on the idea of downloading music. I was kind of concerned about illegal downloading and just figured it was easier NOT to have any downloaded music at all. I read on this post and checked out a few of these sites. I only have an MP3 player, not on iPod, so I was looking for an easy to use site to get my MP3 Downloads at.

Emusic rocks!
P.S. Yes Weserly, Emusic is free too.
